But what if Stanley didn’t remember? What if Stanford was left to take care of his amnesiac brother? And Ford tries so hard not to let the absence of anything resembling Stanley get to him, but one day he just breaks down and grabs Stanley’s face and starts begging him to come back, “Please, Stanley, please come back. I can’t do this anymore. Please.”

And Stanley just stutters “I-I’m sorry.”

“Hey, look at me. Turn around an look at me, you one-eyed demon!”
I suddenly realized why this part is so satisfying, and Stanley’s most badass moment for me. Because throughout the entire show it was Bill who was seeing everyone, looking into people’s minds, ruining their lives. People try to forget they ever saw Bill. He caused Ford to completely lose his mind because Bill’s eyes were EVERYWHERE and no matter what he did, Bill was always there, watching. Ford couldn’t get away. But now, STAN is the one calling all of the shots, Stan is the one ordering this demon to look at HIM, his anger burning as brightly as the flames around them. And Bill is so terrified of this human radiating judgement and rage… that he looks at him.
