Decided to transcribe a page from the sneak peek of the third journal. Someone probably already did, but whatever. (look at those little squirrels he doodled, that’s so
cute!)
“[I] must admit that my interest in this town is far
more than simple curiosity. For the past six years I have been trusted with a
grant to fund my scientific research with the expectation from my peers and
benefactors that once I have completed my studies, I will return with something
that will change the world. Indeed, many of the things I have witnessed here
are astonishing, but most astonishing is the town itself because it begs the
question: WHY??
Why is that this
one remote location houses more paranormal, alter-average and super-usual
phenomenon than any other location on Earth? There must be a hidden law of
nature, a “Grand Unified Theory of Weirdness,” which explains how
everything in Gravity Falls is connected- it is this theory which I am
determined to discover.

2) Discover GRAND UNIFIED THEORY OF WEIRDNESS
3) Publish Theory and join the ranks of Newton, Tesla &
Einstein in the the pantheon of science!

Things I am excited about, that are in Journal Three: We will see his descent into madness due to Bill Cipher. Alex has confirmed we will find out why there is blood on the page. We will see his backstory with the shapeshifter, as well as find out more about him and Fiddleford. We’ll find out extra information about events in episodes and their aftermaths from Dipper’s notes. The page with the sailboat is in journal three, so I’m ready to cry from that. Alex has also confirmed we will find out about Dimension 52 in the journal.
