can you just imagine Stan getting woken up because Ford woke up from a nightmare screaming and even though Ford doesn’t want to Stan insists that Ford talk it through because he’s done this with “the kids many times ok, Sixer- it helps.”
So Ford just gives him a tired smile and starts recounting the events of what happened in his dream- tells him about the chain choking him, the long journey to the throne room instead of just transporting there because Bill wanted him to suffer, how the skin under the chains started burning, the demons gathering around as they hoist him into the sky with expectant eyes and Bill again reiterating his threats and how his arms hurt from the strain on them from having to hold himself up by his wrists but Stan just gets more and more uncomfortable because this is too detailed and this is too specific and he intercepts Ford and shakily says, “This- this is a dream right?” and Ford just
blinks at him
And Stan gets a wave of nausea and feels devastated and sees red all at the same time. And he knows if he could have one wish it would be to go back and destroy Bill all over again but all he can do right now is hug Ford and tell him over again how much of a crap that triangle is and how glad he is that triangle is gone for good and I made myself sad
