To Alex Hirsch and the Graviteam: Thank you so, so, much for taking us on this special journey through an amazing summer with the Pines family. Thanks for all the laughter and the tears and all the special, sincere moments.

Gravity Falls has a very special place in my heart. I love it dearly, and I’ll never forget how it inspired me as an artist and a storyteller. I already miss it so much, looking forward to each episode, loving these characters over and over, reading all the fan theories…I’m feeling so nostalgic already. The finale absolutely ruined me, I couldn’t stop crying, haha. But…I’m glad it ended the way it did. So, I tell myself this quote by Dr. Seuss whenever I see the phrase “goodbye, Gravity Falls”: “Don’t be sad because it’s over, smile because it happened.”

See you next summer, right?

The majority of my time spent on Weird ep2 was in post production so I wasn’t as involved in the design of Mable Land apart from compositing and retakes. Mostly I spent my time re-drawing and painting the human throne from every angle imaginable. But here are a few of the pieces I did aside from all that.
